About Us

We are a group of believers in Jesus Christ who are seeking to reach and disciple Uganda's children and youth through teaching them the good news of Jesus Christ and His Word, the Bible.

We do not seek to build up our own organization, but rather the glory of God and the nurturing of His people and kingdomthrough coming alongside local churches. We are a non-profit, Christ-focused, Jesus-loving organization founded by a Canadian missionary.

Oversight & Governance

We are under the leadership and authority of our International Advisory Board,  a group of believers each of whom God has given unique gifts, talents, & passions. They include people from various nationalities and ages; with qualifications and experience in their fields including pastoral care, international development, legal, policy development and advice, youth work, counselling, preaching, business, parenting. Each Advisory Board Member is a believer who walks with Jesus, is faithful in prayer, and passionate about seeing children and youth come to know Jesus Christ.

Our project in Uganda is carried out under the National Board of Directors for our NGO: One Life 20:24, Uganda.

We are funded through the generosity of believers and local churches in both Canada and the United States.  We are part of the Great Commission Foundation of Canada (GCF is a registered Canadian charity with Canada Revenue Agency #85992 8483 RR0001); and Friends of the Great Commission Foundation USA (FGCF is a registered 501(c)(3) charity #859928483 RR0001). One Life and the local churches we partner with, commit to being faithful stewards of God’s resources (human, scriptural, financial, time, and environmental - I Corinthians 4:1). All staff & volunteers will not use resources for personal benefit, but only those necessary for them to carry out their responsibilities and ministry with One Life 2024.

We run our projects on the ground in Uganda through the oversight of our missionaries, and bright capable volunteers. We run our projects on the ground in Uganda through the oversight of our Project Director, (missionary), national employees, and volunteer believers from Ugandan churches. We also value the training and assistance of short-term volunteers from both North America and East Africa.

In Uganda, our projects are administered in partnership with and through local churches in each of the districts where we serve and minister.

One Life Clubs are not in affiliation with any one particular denomination, as we seek to come alongside all churches in local areas who hold to the Bible as God's complete, infallible and inherent Word; and believe that salvation is not dependent on the work of man, but rather the complete and finished work of God's Son, Jesus Christ.
