What do Ugandan's say about us?
As I was preparing to go back to North America on furlough it was a sweet time of telling the people around me what they meant to me and vice versa! I guess I talk about my family a lot because many of them sent notes "greetings" to my family back home.
I submit Quarterly reports to my mission, the Great Commission Foundation, so this Fall I decided to let the kids "write my report for me"! Using the notes written below in their own words.
I'm so thankful for God's sustaining grace and the working of His Spirit and Word. He has been so faithful. As I anticipate returning to Uganda in January and the next season ahead I hear God telling me to continue to "feed my sheep." This will look a little different, but I'm thankful and look forward to all He has ahead. "Be of Good courage and He shall strengthen your heart all you who hope in the Lord." (Ps 31:24)
Below are the notes from some of my Ugandan friends. Be encouraged friends, these notes are for you too as you have had a very significant part in enabling me to be there and supporting me and these dear people!
As sweet Gilbert said: "May God bless everyone who has been supporting Laura Stewart"

My teammate, Stephanie, had a sweet send-off party for me. Although the Serge team that I used to work alongside in Bundibugyo has shrunk (by 75-80%??) these last two years, my teammates and our interns that remain sent me off well. Some of their notes are below :)
